Hotel Prins Hendrik is located on Prins Hendrikkade, opposite Central Station, next to St. Nicholas Church and near the Bijenkorf department store, Magna Plaza shopping mall, and the Royal Palace on Dam Square. From our hotel, you can walk straight into Amsterdam's oldest and most vibrant neighborhood. In the lively Red Light District and around Nieuwmarkt, you'll find numerous bars, theaters, and restaurants. Here, you can also visit the Trippenhuis, the Hemp Museum, or the Ons' Lieve Heer op Solder museum.

Public transport from CS

Hotel Prins Hendrik is so centrally located that the picturesque Jordaan district with the Anne Frank Museum, the Noordermarkt, and historic courtyards are all within a 10-minute walk. And if you prefer to take the tram to the Rijksmuseum or Van Gogh Museum, for example, you can easily reach them from Central Station.

Directions to Hotel Prins Hendrik

Walking from Central Station

It's a 200-meter walk from Amsterdam Central Station to our hotel. Stand with your back to Central Station. Cross Stationsplein and walk approximately 100 meters toward Damrak. Cross at the traffic lights. Where Damrak begins (at the Victoria Hotel), walk 100 meters to the left. You'll then see a small square with the large St. Nicholas Church. We are located on that square at Prins Hendrikkade 53.

By car

Heading towards Amsterdam, take the A10 (Amsterdam-Centrum ring road) and take exit S 116 (Amsterdam Centrum). Continue straight ahead. Keep right in the IJ tunnel. When you exit, turn immediately right onto Prins Hendrikkade. After approximately 500 meters, you will see Parking Centrum Oosterdok on your right.
